Writing Support Scholarships

This scholarship gives access to three months of Writing Support for the Overwhelmed and Overextended, Tier One, which is one of my coaching packages. You can learn about me as an editor, teacher, and person here.
Who is this for?: This round of scholarships is for trans writers who could not otherwise access this writing support because money's too tight. I define both "trans" and "writers" broadly: Yes, you are trans enough. No, you do not have to be published or want to pursue publication to count as a writer: writers are people who write! I also believe that you know best whether you could reasonably just pay full price (in which case, please check out my website and reach out through my contact form to discuss possibilities!).

Program details:
- Form deadline: 11 December 2024 (Wednesday) at 11:59 p.m. Central time.
- Coaching will take place January–March 2025.
- The value of this 3-month coaching package is $300. The suggested scholarship rate is $45 ($15 per month, an 85% discount), with a pay-what-you-can structure. If you get a spot and can't do $45, let me know what's workable for you.
- There are limited spots available because of my work and family obligations and my own financial needs. If I can't help you right now, I will let you know—but please understand that's not a judgment on your worth or the value of your writing practice!
- Because I have limited spots available, I ask that participants really participate! Please be ready to commit to our time together and to your own writing life—not through a huge amount of time (that you may not have) but through a spirit of openness and a willingness to prioritize your creative spark during these months.
