Eliot West is an independent editor, educator, and writing coach with a specialty in inclusive language and storytelling. Queer romance fiction is their extra-special happy place!
 
In addition to working one-on-one with clients, they lead the Revisionary learning pathway at the Loft Literary Center’s online writing community Lit!Commons, serve on ACES’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Advisory Committee, and host a biannual unconference and spinoff accountability group for an amazing group of editors.
 
Eliot holds a PhD in English literature with a focus on literary theory and the novel … but their real education has been in reading queer romance novels, connecting with colleagues, working with students, and getting their hands dirty in manuscripts as texts grow into themselves.
